The Bright, Airy Escape: Primary Suite at 700 McAlway
The primary suite at 700 McAlway was designed to be a calm, elegant retreat a place that feels just as luxurious as it is livable. Anchored in a palette of soft neutrals and filled with natural light, the space exudes comfort through clean lines, thoughtful materials, and refined simplicity.
From the moment you enter, the bedroom sets the tone with its vaulted shiplap ceiling and expansive black-trimmed windows that frame lush views of the outdoors. These architectural elements bring a strong sense of verticality and openness, drawing the eye up and out, while keeping the room grounded in warmth through hardwood floors and natural textures.
Just off the bedroom, the ensuite bathroom continues the story of clean, bright sophistication. Double vanities with white cabinetry and marble countertops are elevated by bold, arched mirrors framed in brass. The gold tones are echoed in the modern vertical sconces and hardware, giving the space a sense of unity and polish.
A freestanding soaking tub sits beneath another large window, inviting both natural light and quiet moments of relaxation. Open shelving provides just enough utility, while still feeling minimal and intentionally styled.
The floors are consistent throughout, white oak hardwoods, creating continuity and a grounded, organic backdrop for the crisp white finishes.
