A Warm Welcome: The Kitchen at 312 Plantation Place
At 312 Plantation Place, the heart of the home was designed to feel both open and inviting, striking the perfect balance between modern elegance and timeless warmth. From the start, our vision was clear: create a kitchen that feels sophisticated, functional, and full of character.
We chose Benjamin Moore’s Collingwood for the custom cabinetry to provide a soft, warm neutral backdrop. This versatile shade of greige adds subtle depth and works beautifully with both natural and metallic accents. The clean lines of the cabinetry maintain a modern edge, while the traditional shaker profile keeps the look grounded and classic.
To bring warmth and texture into the space, we incorporated white oak accents throughout — on the range hood, island front, and the custom paneled refrigerator doors.
These elements add natural contrast to the cabinetry and create a sense of cohesion across the kitchen. The chevron wood pattern on the island is a standout feature that adds artisanal detail and visual interest.
For a touch of understated glamour, we selected elegant gold cabinet pulls. Their clean, modern shape elevates the cabinetry and ties in beautifully with other warm-toned accents throughout the room. These hardware selections are more than just functional — they act like jewelry for the kitchen.
Lighting played a crucial role in defining the ambiance. We opted for Visual Comfort pendants over the island — their crisp white finish and cone shape add both light and sculptural elegance to the space.
