The Quincy: Thoughtful Design from Suite to Laundry

The primary suite in the Quincy Plan was designed to feel calm, open, and connected to the rhythms of everyday living. Walls painted in Benjamin Moore Halo create a soft backdrop, while the vaulted ceiling draws the eye upward and adds a sense of scale to the room. Shiplap detailing across the ceiling introduces subtle texture, complementing the clean architectural lines and abundant natural light.

Large black-framed windows bring the outdoors in, creating a bright and airy atmosphere throughout the day. The combination of warm wood flooring, elevated ceiling details, and a restrained color palette gives the space a relaxed feel while maintaining the timeless character found throughout the Quincy plan.

Just beyond the primary closet, the laundry room incorporates one of the Quincy plan’s most thoughtful features. A discreet pass-through door within the closet opens directly into a custom laundry cabinet, allowing clothing to be transferred from the closet to the laundry room without carrying baskets through the house. It’s a simple detail that streamlines an everyday task while keeping laundry tucked neatly out of sight.

Custom cabinetry painted in Benjamin Moore Intense White provides generous storage, while the patterned porcelain mosaic tile flooring introduces texture and visual interest. Together, the thoughtful connection between spaces and carefully selected finishes reflects the Quincy plan’s overall approach—pairing beautiful design with practical functionality.
