2026 kitchen trends survey calls out the colors and cabinets most in demand, and they’ve changed

Kitchen renovations are expensive, and many are performed for practical reasons. People are staying put longer, the recently released 2026 U.S. Houzz Kitchen Trends Study found, and homeowners want an efficient kitchen with more storage.

More than half of renovating homeowners surveyed said they need to address current or future aging-related or special needs in their kitchen remodel, which is up 3 percentage points from the previous annual study.
