A Kitchen Designed for Living
This custom-designed kitchen is a masterclass in thoughtful craftsmanship and timeless design. From hand-selected finishes to high-performance appliances, every element has been curated to deliver a luxurious yet livable experience.
At the heart of the kitchen design lies the cabinetry, painted in Benjamin Moore’s Collingwood, a warm gray that balances softness with sophistication. The custom cabinets feature classic shaker-style doors with matte black hardware, creating a subtle contrast that anchors the space without overpowering it.
Illuminating the space are two stunning Visual Comfort pendants, paired with coordinating sconces that flank the custom range hood. These black teardrop-shaped pendants with gold interiors add a touch of dramatic contrast while casting a warm, ambient glow. The sconces, meanwhile, frame the window and highlight the symmetry of the entire layout.
Function meets finesse with a suite of JennAir appliances that deliver top-tier performance for everyday use.
The expansive island doubles as a prep zone and social hub. Wrapped in vertical white oak slats and topped with clean quartz, it comfortably seats four and invites casual meals, morning coffee, or wine-filled evenings with friends. On one side, the custom butcher block adds a layer of tactile interest and functional prep space, marrying utility with artful design.
To infuse the kitchen with natural texture and warmth, we incorporated white oak accents finished in Rubio Monocoat’s Vanilla. The centerpiece of this approach is the vertical slatted white oak base on the island and the custom-crafted live edge white oak butcher block. These organic elements soften the modern edges and invite touch, conversation, and connection.
