ADDING CHARACTER WITH BUILT-INS

At Pike, we believe in utilizing every square foot efficiently, and that’s why we constantly strive to incorporate creative built-in solutions that not only optimize space but also enhance the overall aesthetic appeal. Adding character with built-ins can transform any room in your home.

In our pursuit of maximizing space and adding character with built-ins, we decided to break away from the conventional symmetrical built-ins flanking the fireplace and introduced a captivating corner built-in unit. This unexpected choice infused the living room with an intriguing architectural element that we rarely have the opportunity to do. Not only does it add interest to the space, but it also creates a warm and inviting reading corner. Just imagine curling up with a book in this cozy nook, surrounded by the charm of the custom corner built-in.

We wanted to make the most of the storage space and add some nice features. So, we came up with a solution: we built custom floating shelves. These shelves and cabinets not only provide plenty of space to store things but also look really attractive. One of the special things about them is that we used a chevron pattern on the wall behind the shelves, which adds a stylish and sophisticated touch.

Check out the built-in homework station that is both charming and functional. It provides a dedicated space for studying, reading, or even pursuing creative activities. We carefully created a desk area with plenty of storage, including drawers and shelves for organizing books, stationery, and other important items. By maximizing space and adding character with built-ins, we transformed the transitional space into a useful and welcoming corner for various tasks.
