Today we are taking a look at our Berkeley Home Plan 🏠 One of the most unique exterior designs we’ve done to date ☀️ where beauty and functionality truly come together. Let’s break down the three elements that make that happen.

Thoughtful design that works hard and lives beautifully 🌟

One of the best parts of being both the builder and the designer is getting to dream something up - and then bring it to life 🏡 Take this front porch, for example. A year ago, we knew its width would be perfect for planters, but we didn’t want any future homeowners worrying about daily watering or messy drainage 💧So we built in a hidden drain + irrigation line to keep the plants thriving and the porch spotless 🌿

Throughout this home, we intentionally introduced arches, radius transitions, and softened geometry 📐 to guide movement, frame sight lines, and bring a sense of flow to each space 🏠 Intentional architectural decisions designed to elevate how the home feels.

What makes a luxury kitchen? It’s the details that set it apart. A fully paneled custom refrigerator + freezer 🚰 Truly custom cabinetry, like these inset, beaded cabinets, where the door sits perfectly flush inside the frame. Thoughtful built-ins, and of course, elevated appliances like this Wolf range. 🔥 Luxury is in the craftsmanship, and it shows here.

Let’s talk about this front entry moment. We’ve used this configuration before, but this time we refined the proportions, designing the front door to match the scale of the windows, creating a clean, elevated welcome into the two-story foyer ✨ And to take it one step further, we utilized the space under the stairs with custom built-ins 🍾

We designed our Newbury plan to blend seamlessly into its neighborhood 🏘️ A home that invites you to sit on the front porch and chat with your neighbors. Thoughtful details like oversized front windows that seamlessly blend the glass front door into it, paired with wood accents, creating a stunning focal point that’s both warm and modern ☕

Let’s talk organic modern design: a style that’s been trending for good reason. It pairs natural materials with clean architectural lines, and this custom fireplace is a great example of that balance 🌿 The full-height natural stone brings texture, warmth, and an organic presence to the room, while the strong linear geometry of the focal wall introduces a modern, structured element. What makes this one especially unique is the curved wall construction. Achieving this shape required precise framing, custom stonework, and detailed finish carpentry to ensure every line stayed clean and consistent. A true team effort and the final result is a seamless blend of organic softness and modern design 🔥
